If you missed American Idol last night we’ve got you covered with all the clips that you care about… Who was sent home? How were the jokes? Kara’s nude photo from Allure and all the performances! Enjoy!

The “Idol Gives Back” charity special last night wasn’t all fun and games. At the end of the show, someone had to be cut, and Tim Urban was sent home. (From “American Idol 9″ on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.)

Last night on the “American Idol” charity special, “Idol Gives Back,” George Lopez judged the judges. And it was really more like a roast. Here he is judging Randy and Kara. He made fun of Randy for always saying people are “pitchy,” and he made fun of Kara for posing nude in Allure magazine.

Here is the picture.

Kara DioGuardi AlureGeorge Lopez called Ellen DeGeneres the “Kourtney Kardashian of the judges” and made fun of Simon for wearing shirts that are so tight, “people at home can tell how cold it is.” Then he asked, “saline or silicone” and said America had voted Simon off the show. Last night on “Idol Gives Back,” President Obama and the First Lady opened the show with a message to fans, thanking them for their donations and urging them to keep it up. Then Obama told the finalists, quote, “You’re all my dogs.” The show benefits five charities: The Children’s Health Fund, Feeding America, Malaria No More, Save The Children, and the United Nations Foundation. Wanda Sykes did stand-up. She said you can always tell when Simon Cowell is bored, because he starts playing with his nipples. Then she made fun of the show for making contestants sing after they’ve been voted off. (From “American Idol 9″ on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.)

The ‘Miracle on the Hudson’ pilot, Captain Sully Sullenberger, told viewers that he saved 155 lives, but they could help save thousands of lives by donating. (From “American Idol 9″ on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.)

Mary J. Blige performed “Stairway To Heaven” with Randy Jackson on bass and Travis Barker on drums. Steve Vai and Michael Jackson’s guitarist, Orianthi, played guitar. (From “American Idol 9″ on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.)

[lastfm]Annie Lennox[/lastfm] was supposed to be in Los Angeles to perform on “Idol Gives Back,” but she got stuck in London because of the volcano in Iceland. So she performed there, and it was shown on a big screen instead. The song is a brand new one that she’s never performed before. She didn’t say what the name was, but our best guess is “Universal Child.” Here it is. (From “American Idol 9″ on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.)

Last night on “American Idol,” [lastfm]Carrie Underwood[/lastfm] sang her song, “Change.” It’s been five years since Carrie won season four. (From “American Idol 9″ on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.)

[lastfm]Alicia Keys[/lastfm] performed a medley of “Unthinkable” and her solo version of “Empire State of Mind.” (From “American Idol 9″ on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.)

[lastfm]Joss Stone[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Jeff Beck[/lastfm] performed “I Put A Spell On You,” which was made popular by Nina Simone. (From “American Idol 9″ on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.)

Five singers who’d been voted off of “American Idol” returned last night, and the Top 12 performed the Müchener Freiheit song, “Keeping The Dream Alive.” (From “American Idol 9″ on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.)
