Singer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Uncle Kracker[/lastfm] is headed to Nashville for a little recording time, before hitting the road for the Kenny Chesney Tour. The recording time is for his fifth album and follow-up to 2009’s “Happy Hour”. 

With excitement, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Uncle Kracker [/lastfm] prepares for the release with approximately 20 songs written for it.

He also describes the songs as”…a little more Americana.”

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Uncle Kracker[/lastfm], who possesses the real name Matt Shafer, collaborated on the new songs with J.T. Harding and Shane McAnally.

The project has yet to be titled but he is looking forward to recording the songs soon as he prepares to hit the road with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kenny Chesney[/lastfm] starting March 17 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
