This Sunday night (April 1st) on CBS a couple will tie the knot on stage at the Academy of Country Music Awards while [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Martina McBride[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Pat Monahan[/lastfm], lead singer of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Train[/lastfm], sing “Marry Me.”
McBride hand picked the happy couple during her performance in Las Vegas.
Christina Davidson and her fiancé Frank Tucci are from New Jersey and have a very touching story on how they met.
In 2009, they both lost their spouses and met at a support group for young widows and widowers, which Davidson started in their community. Over time they became close friends being there for one another as they dealt with being a single parent and keeping their spouses’ memory alive.
The Academy of Country Music Awards will air live Sunday night on CBS.
