Normally the opening monologue on Saturday Night Live is one of the funniest bits of the night. However, this past Saturday after the incredibly sad and tragic events that took place in Newtown Connecticut, the show opened with a tribute to the victims as members of the New York City Children’s Chorus sang “Silent Night”.
