Why the heck not??  So what if Waxhaw celebrates a full 30 days early – more fun for you and the kids, I say!

Natalie Jackson from the city of Waxhaw tells me that there’s a free Children’s Egg Hunt and Family Scavenger Hunt in downtown Waxhaw starting at 5pm this Friday, March 1st!  Meet at David G. Barnes Children’s Park, and the kids will have the chance to hunt for eggs filled with delicious treats.

Following the Egg Hunt, a Family Scavenger Hunt starts!  Families can enjoy the challenge of finding objects throughout the downtown both inside and outside our local businesses.

Besides the two ‘hunts,’ music will play in the streets, they’ll be other chances to win prizes, enjoy discounts at local eateries and shops and take advantage of free carriage rides, too!
